Carlene and Amanda have over 30 years of combined experience helping adults gain or maintain independence after major life events such as: stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, joint surgery, or diagnosis of major illnesses such as Parkinson's Disease.
Dr. Johnson is a wife, mother, and licensed occupational therapist She is a certified LSVT BIG provider, and trained Neurodevelopmental Treatment ( NDT) for adults with stroke. She is also a Certified Aging in Place Specialist and gaining advanced training in pelvic floor therapy. Carlene has a passion for helping clients and caregivers navigate anxiety, depression and cognitive changes that can occur with chronic conditions
In addition, she serves as a faculty mentor for students completing their entry-level doctoral Capstone projects with the School of Occupational Therapy at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Dr. Satcher is a wife, mother of two young daughters and an occupational therapist. She is certified in Physical Agent Modalities Amanda brings experience working in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient therapy, treating a wide range of diagnoses including stroke, multiple sclerosis, brain injury, and spinal and orthopedic surgery. Amanda also specializes in pelvic floor therapy which helps clients successfully manage bowel, bladder and sexual challenges. In addition, Amanda serves as an instructor For Belmont University's School of Occupational Therapy and is passionate about fostering a love for the field of occupational therapy among the next generation of therapists. In addition, Amanda has experience serving pre-school age clients to address fine motor, gross motor, and social functioning for increased confidence and independence at home and in the classroom.

Tori is an occupational therapy student at Belmont University set to graduate in May 2024. She is certified in LSVT BIG and is a certified CarFit Technician. Tori completed her first full-time fieldwork rotation at The McNeilly Center for Children in East Nashville where she helped to create an occupational therapy program for the children at the center. She aided in identifying students who needed services, helped to develop classroom behavior programs, and led group and individual treatment sessions that focused on the development of age appropriate fine motor, gross motor, visual, cognitive, and behavioral skills. She completed her second full-time fieldwork rotation at Vanderbilt Orthopedics in an outpatient hand therapy clinic. Here, she gained experience working with a variety of surgical and non-surgical diagnoses and facilitated individual treatment plans that included the use of physical agent modalities, orthoses fabrication, and a vast array of interventions. She is currently finishing her capstone project with My LiveABILITY, LLC, where she is developing an information library for clients and caregivers living with Parkinson's disease to empower them in their daily lives.
I am passionate about providing individualized and holistic care to all patients to help them return to the activities that they value and cherish the most.
